Nashik: The average price of tomato wholesale at Pimpalgaon APMC – The largest wholesale tomato market in the country – jammed from Rs 4.50 per kg to Rs 2.55 per kg for the last 10 days.

Each chest contains around 20 kg of products.
“There is good tomato production this year, but requests in the domestic market are relatively low.
Moreover, the quality is not very good.
All of these factors have an impact on wholesale prices,” said Bajare.
The price of minimum and maximum tomatoes has been recorded by each of Rs 2.55 per kg and Rs 7.5 per kg, while the average wholesale price of Rs 2.5 per kg.
Farmers still throw products to protest accidents at prices.
This center has sent a letter to the state government, asking for utilizing market intervention schemes (eg) for the interests of tomato farmers, but the state government has not received a call on this issue.
