Nashik Zilla Parishad targets 10,000 vaccines every day

Nashik: Nashik Zilla Parishad has decided to provide vaccinations to at least 10,000 people every day during Diwali, considering that people may not appear in vaccination centers during the celebration period.
Shailesh Nikam, Taluka Health Officer from Nashik Zilla Parishad said, “On average, 40,000 doses are given in rural areas every day.
However, because of the celebration season, people may not come to take vaccinations.
Even so, we have decided to continue the vaccination process.
.
“Nikam said that they would target the tribal population in the district.
“A large number of tribes migrated to other places to work.
Somehow they take work works in big cities or work on other people’s farms in various districts or in other states.
However, during festivals such as Diwali, they returned home for celebrations.
Therefore, we have decided to target such populations to manage vaccines, “Nikam said.
