New Delhi: With the aim of popularizing the essence of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings among young people, the BJP youth wing regulates the national essay competition.
Participants have options for writing essays in English, Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannade, Malayalam, Telugu, Assam, Punjabi, Odia or Gujarati.

The last date of online submission is January 20 and the results will be announced on January 23.
According to Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the essay competition is part of the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to mark the 75-year state independence.
“Continuing the precious tradition to remember the actual country’s children, the national essay writing competition was being held by BJYM, at the commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s birth.
This program was launched to commemorate Swami Ji and popularize the essence of his teachings in between.

The participants can choose from the range of seven topics for the 2000 word essay.
Participants can choose one of the seven topics – Swami Vivekananda and his message for youth, Swami Vivekananda and Education, Swami Vivekananda and Social Justice, Swami Vivekananda and Hindu Modernity, Swami Vivekananda and Women, Swami and Swami Vivekananda and its vision for Bharat.
BJYM National President Tejasvi Surya said: “Swami Vivekananda is a monk, thinker, philosopher, social reformer, and modern youth.
BJYM believes that today’s youth must absorb Swami Vivekananda learning and follow the path of truth, sincerity, discipline and nationalism.

Apart from the cash prize, the winners will also get an invitation to join solar for high tea.
The winning essay will also be published in BJYM National Magazine and its website.
