KOLKATA: KMC will add domestic aid working in town housing complexes, apartment buildings or stand alone structures at the priority category for Covid vaccination.
The KMC Board of Administrators (BoA) chairman Firhad Hakim, that chased workplace Saturday, said efforts were about to identify domestic aid as Covid warriors and so arrange to get their schooling.
“I believe domestic help ought to be provided that the Covid warrior standing to make them qualified for the vaccination free of charge.
I will take up the issue with the state health secretary of taking initiative for addition of domestic aid at the priority category,” Hakim said.
A part of KMC health department officials believed recognizing domestic aid as superb spreaders and organizing for their vaccination in the urban health centers would bring down the infection rate.

Some residents’ welfare institutions in housing complexes also have organised vaccination for support industry employees.
In Urbana, the inhabitants have organised vaccination for 850 people, including taxpayers, motorists and maids.
