New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday while interacting with Bharatiya Janata Party members praised the election commission and said that the Indian election process had set benchmarks for various countries.
“India is one of the countries where the Election Commission (EC) can issue notices to people and move officials.
The EC process and our election set a benchmark for various countries,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi’s comments on the Election Commission came on the same day as India celebrating national voter days.
PM Modi interacts with Samiti Panna members from Gujarat on audio through the Namo application.
According to BJP, PM will interact with party members throughout the country today.
