Navi Mum: Nigeria among the two held with Mephedrone

Mumbai: Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has arrested two people, one of which is Nigeria, because it allegedly has Mephedrone worth Rs 37.5 lakh at Navi Mumbai, a official said on Saturday.
Acting on the tip-off, the Ghatkopar Anc unit put a trap near the Solari Bus Stop in Zion-Panven Highway in Govandi on Friday night, and arrested Francis Augustin d’Souza (29) with 45 GM Mephedrone, official said.
Based on the information provided by the defendant was arrested, the ANC team set another trap near the Juinagar train station and arrested Nigeria National Richard Tony (39), a resident of Mira Road, and restored 205 GM Mephedrone, he said.
During interrogation, there was a duo involved in smuggling, transportation and distribution of drugs, he said, adding that a case was registered in this case under the relevant parts of narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances (NDPS).
