In the midst of the lack of Covid-19 vaccine in several regions, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) told that vaccination on Tuesday (June 29) will take place only in three centers.
At present, only the second shot of Covaxin will be given to those aged between 18 and 44 years, 45 plus, health workers, and frontline workers.
Vaccination will take place at public hospitals – Vashi, Nerul, and Airoli.
Each center will have 500 doses and Jab will be given from 9am to 5pm.
NMMC told that no other session including drive-in vaccination would not be held.
The city corporation has mentioned that Navi Mumbai residents will be given a vaccine photo shoot at priority in these centers.
Also, people over the age of 70 plus, and those who have defects will be given tokens in priority and they do not need to wait in the queue.
Meanwhile, Navi Mumbai reported 92 new Covid-19 cases, four deaths and 71 recovery.
