Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai region has seen a new surge in Covid-19 case.
Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) said that 146 people tested the virus positive on Wednesday (June 30).
During last week, the area had reported new cases below 100.
With the addition of new cases, the total number has increased to 1,00,734.
Six people also gave up on the virus, took the total number of deaths to 1,751.
In fact, 81 people were dismissed from the hospital after recovering.
So far, 97,375 people have been repatriated.
At present, 1,610 people take care.
418 people in house isolation.
Of the 146 new cases, the belorur area reported 25 cases, followed by 22 in Vashi, respectively in Koparchairne and Airoli, 20 in Turbhe, 19 in Nerul, 16 in Ghansoli, and two in Digha.
