Mumbai: Navi Mumbai Boy Atharva Patch, which has scored 300 of 300 of the 300 in the second session Jee (Main) held in March, emerged as a national peak, along with 17 other students, on Wednesday when the National Test Agency (NTA) released a rating list of four sessions.
While 44 students scored 100 percentiles in all four sessions that were put together, 18 of them shared first rank.
In the state, five students pocketed the perfect score, including Gargi Bakshi, a resident of Nashik who had moved to Mumbai for Jee’s training two years ago.
2.5 lakh top students in the entire category, which qualifies in jee (play), will be eligible to appear for jee (continued), which is scheduled for October 3.
Cut-off jee (Main) for open category students stand at 87 , 89 percentile.

A total of 9.4 Lakh students appeared for Jee (play) in four sessions this year.

In the class XII CBSE Board, he scored 97.4%.
Along with toyers and Bakshi, Ameya Deshmukh, Sourabh Kulkarni and Gayen Snehdeep of the country also scored 100 percent.
Snehdeep Gayen, another student from Mumbai (Complex Bandra-Kurla) with 100 percentiles, pocketed the All-India (air) rating 5.
He is among 44 students in this country to get a perfect score and among the five toppers in the state.
Gayen, a Pace Junior Science College student, Andheri, lost five marks in chemistry and scored 295 of 300.
He wanted to pursue his Btech in computer science from Iit-Bombay, and now focuses on preparation for JEE (Advanced For the Precation).
While his father was at the Reserve Bank of India, his mother was a teacher.
Gayen tried Jee (play) in all four sessions to increase the score.
He scored 98.2% in his council test.
