Navi Mumbai: Four Indian Python Rock is saved between the Chirle and Services in the midfield in a heavy rain on Thursday.
With the help of forest officials range, snakes are then released in a safe forested area.
“Three of the four saved snakes were found in the container page near the Services, while the fourth Indian Python Rock was entangled in the nearby fishermen net.
The natural habitat from this reptile has become a flood in heavy rain, which is why they have to do protection in the page Containers and other places, “said Anand Madhvi activist from Vertsyav Savrakshan Sanstha (VNSS).
The Department of Forest of Local Department of Kadam along with other forest officials physically examined four Indian rock snakes which were saved and then safely released it in other wooded areas where the chances of human-animal conflicts were minimal.

“Very lucky that some local villagers who have VNSS contact numbers immediately call us, and so we can save snakes before they can be harmed,” added Madhvi.
The biggest Python is 10 feet long while the other reptiles are seven feet long to nine feet long.
Residents were asked to inform the state forest Helpline number in 1926, or local fire brigades and forest destruction officials if they saw snakes in their territory.
It is illegal to endanger or kill snakes because they are protected by wildlife protection laws, 1972.
One can be imprisoned for a maximum of seven years because of killing protected reptile species.
