Navi Mumbai: Four Indian Stone Pythons saved

Navi Mumbai: Four Indian Python Rock is saved between the Chirle and Services in the midfield in a heavy rain on Thursday.

The biggest Python is 10 feet long while the other reptiles are seven feet long to nine feet long.
Residents were asked to inform the state forest Helpline number in 1926, or local fire brigades and forest destruction officials if they saw snakes in their territory.
It is illegal to endanger or kill snakes because they are protected by wildlife protection laws, 1972.
One can be imprisoned for a maximum of seven years because of killing protected reptile species.
