Navi Mumbai: Police Navi Mumbai has arrested four people for allegedly burning the tempo for the dispute, an official said on Thursday.
The tempo published with the plastic chest caught fire in the marketing committee of Agricultural Production Vashi (APMC) on July 3, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Suresh Mengde.
After scanning CCTV recordings and probes, the police detained Abbas Sattar Khan from whom the owner had bought a vehicle.
According to the owner, there are several disputes over payments between the two.
The probe further revealed that the son of Khan Sohel was allegedly involved in setting a burning Tempo and he suffered burns and was hospitalized.
Allegedly his sacredness Aftab Khan, Nizamuddin Khan and Shaikh arrested.
Sohel will be arrested as soon as he is dismissed from the hospital, DCP said.
APMC police carry out further investigation.
