Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has suspended drive vaccination because of heavy rain predictions on Friday.
“There is no vaccination scheduled for July 23 at Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Covid Centers because of heavy rain predictions,” Civic’s body said.
This is the second time NMMC has suspended the drive.
Previously, it was suspended on June 10.
Meanwhile, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area on Thursday reported 52 new Covid-19 cases, took the total number to 1,02,987.
One patient gave up on the virus, took the total number of deaths to 1,808.
On the other hand, vaccination drives have also been canceled in the Thane and Kalyan-Dombivli area due to rain on Friday.
