New Delhi: The leader of the Navjot Congress Singh Sidhu on Friday met the party president while Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath Residence in New Delhi.
Congress Punjab Incharge Harish Rawat also arrived at Sonia’s residence for the meeting.
The Grand Old Party has tried to arrange an arrangement between Amarinder and Sidhu ahead of the election in the state of next year.
Harish was held on Thursday that Sidhu could be made as party president and the peace formula to ensure that Cricketer-turned politicians and Chairman of Captain Amarinder Singh was on the same page had been done.
In the midst of increasing tensions at the party because of his comments, taking care, attending a meeting with the President of Congress Sonia Gandhi at night, lightly tracing his steps.
“I did not say that Sidhu became president.
I was asked if he was there, and I have said that the decision was taken about what you said,” he told reporters.
