Chandigarh: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday afternoon held the first official meeting of the party leaders after taking over new posts on July 21.
The meeting was held at the Punjab Congress in Chandigarh to discuss action courses to strengthen parties in the state.
Sidhu has taken over as the President of the State Congress on July 21.
The four-hour long meeting was also attended by four presidents of party work – Fatehgarh Sahib Mla Kulajit Singh Nagra, Urmar Mla was very Singh Gilzian, Jandiya Sukhwinder Singh Danny.
And party leader from Jaito Pawan Goel.
The meeting was also attended by Punjab Youth Congress President Barinder Singh Dhillon, President of the State Mamta Mamta Congress, Punjab Congress scheduled the Wing Wing and Mla Raj Kumar Chabbewal course, and the Indonesian National Student Association (NSUI) of the State President Akshay Sharma.
Although Sidhu chose not to interact with the media, Goel said Sidhu asked all party frontal organizations to come up with advice to strengthen the Punjab congress.
He said it was decided that the meeting would be held every two weeks with a party frontal organization working on the ground.
