MUMBAI: Indian naval boat INS Trikand attained Mumbai on Sunday using 40 metric tonnes of Automated Medical Oxygen (LMO) by Qatar, as a part of their continuing Operation’Samudra Setu II’ to encourage India’s struggle from the coronavirus pandemic, an official said.
“Within continuing #Covid relief Operation #SamudraSetu_II, #INSTrikand came at #Mumbai now with just two Liq Med O2 (LMO) containers of 20 MT per $@$# 100 O2 cylinders from #Qatar,” that the Navy spokesperson tweeted.
INS Trikand is one of the nine boats set up to its Covid-19 relief Operation’Samudra Setu II’ for attracting LMO and related medical gear from favorable foreign nations in the Persian Gulf and southeast Asia.
Operation Samudra Setu-II was established to augment the continuing national assignment for fulfilling oxygen requirements after the spike in Covid-19 instances.
