Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vir Das along with Sushmita Sen-Starrer Series ‘Aarya’ will represent India in the 2021 International Emmy Awards, scheduled to be held on Tuesday in New York.
Organized by the International Academy of Arts & Science Television, Emmys International aims to “recognize the superiority on television produced outside M.S.
for more than 48 years”.
The nomination for 2021 was announced in September.
Siddiqui has received a nomination in the best performance by the actor category for the film ‘Serious man’.
He was pitted with British star David Tennant (‘des’) and Roy Nik’s actor from Israel (‘ normal]) and Christian Tappan of Colombia (‘El Robo del Siglo’ or ‘The Great Heist’).

Directed by Sudhir Mishra, ‘Serious Man’ is an adaptation of the Novel writer Manu Joseph 2010 with the same name.
