Nagpur: Naxal couple, bring collective cash prizes from Rs 8 Lakh in their heads and with several criminal cases registered against them, surrendered in the Gadchiroli Maharashtra district, police said on Friday.
They have been identified as Vinod aka Maniram Boga (32) and his wife Kavita aka Satto Kovachi (33), police said.
Boga is a resident of Botezari at Gadchiroli.
He is a member of the Korchi Regional Committee in Maois and used to work as a doctor in the unit.
He was sought in 13 murder cases and 21 cases of police-naxal meetings, among others, and brought RS 6 Lakh gift gifts, they said.
His wife is a member of the Tipagarh inside and brings Rs 2 Lakh gift prizes on his head.
He was named in five cases of maois and one case of combustion, among others.
They gave up before the Gadchiroli supervisor from the police (SP) Ankit Goyal.
According to police, 43 Naxals has so far surrendered at Gadchiroli between 2019 and 2021.
