Mumbai: The Metropolitan Court on Saturday issued a warrant that was not stretched against the IPS officer Param Bir Singh and the other two were accused of – Vinay Singh and Chhota Shakehel Aide Riyaz Bhatti – in the case of alleged extortion where the defendant reported Ahmed Ali.
This is a second warrant that is not stretched against officers.
The court also dismissed the application of the API Sachin Waze who was looking to produce a warrant against him.
Waze, who was arrested in planting Gelatin sticks and the murder case of Mansukh Hiran, underwent a heart bypass surgery last month and now a medical team report has given them a green signal to take his rights from Taloja Jail.
