Jammu: The National Conference of Jammu and Kashmir (NC) on Saturday searched for a CBI investigation into the death of the leader of the Senior Party and former member of the legislative council Singh Verdir.
The body decomposed from the NC leader was found in a mysterious state in the national capital on Thursday morning.
Senior NC leaders, led by Devender Province President Singh Rana on Saturday said that some theories of death were conducting rounds, and CBI investigations must be ordered to bring up the truth.
The leaders also said that investigations must be carried out based on a quick lane.
Vizier is a prominent party leader and his contribution in different capacities such as serving as the Gurdwara President’s Parbanda Board is very large, the statement said.
The leaders of the National Conference also met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to suppress their request to conduct a CBI investigation for the death of Vizier.
Previously in the morning, thousands of people, including the former Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Minister of Main Kavinder Gupta and Senior Vice President Raman Bhalla Congress, attended the last ritual of Vizier.
