SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah on Sunday began the practice of consultations with senior leaders of this party within the invitation for discussions in the Centre to mainstream political parties of both Jammu and Kashmir.
Former chief minister Abdullah met senior leaders of this celebration, such as NC general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar and provincial president of Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani, a party leader said.
He said others that attended assembly were Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Mian Altaf,” Mubarak Gul, Sakina Itoo, Khalid Najeeb Suhurwardy along with 2 Members of Parliament — Mohammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi.
The party boss said Abdullah had predicted the leaders for consultations on the dilemma of the invitation to the interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24.
“The consultations are all around.
Following the party president has been done speaking to party leaders, then a meeting of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) will occur at which the member parties will examine the matter and have a collective choice,” he explained.
Talking to reporters following the interview, the NC’s Kashmir provincial president Wani explained the practice of deliberations within the Centre’s invitation was begun by Abdullah.
“The celebration president has begun the practice of consultations with all the older party leaders and those meetings will last until tomorrow.
The consultations with number of senior leaders happened now, ” he (Abdullah) will fulfill several more in the day and a few tomorrow .
