Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested seven people, including two Nigerians, during the drive to issue a supplier and seller of Mephedrone (MD) in Mumbai and the outskirts of neighbors, said an official on Saturday.
During the drive, it was launched on Thursday, two sustainable NCB officials injured while carrying out attacks at Navi Mumbai, said the official, added the NCB team to restore the commercial number of people accused.
“The arrest of Gaurav TV actor Dixit in drug cases on Friday is also part of the operation,” he said, adding Dixit was returned in NCB arrived on Monday.
On Thursday, the Zonal Mumbai NCB team intercepted Peddler medicine MD Abusufiyan Khan from the suburbs of Jogeshwari and restored the middle number of MD from him, he said.
Khan, History-Sheeter, is one of the main vendors cum suppliers in drug cases, he said.
In other operations, NCB officials confiscated 57.3 grams of MD along with a small number of charas and marijuana (Cannabis) in Vasai and East Nallasopara in the Mumbai metropolitan area, he said, adding one Rafiq Mohammedi Ali Shaikh and Nigeria National Jonhcen was arrested in this case.
The official said it was the main supplier of MD in the Nallasopara area.
He also supplies this medicine to mobile sellers and clients in Mumbai and suburbs.
Separately, NCB officials confiscated 52 grams of MD from Irramuddin Khan, History-Sheeter, from Suburban Goregaon.
In an operation carried out in the Kharghar Navi Mumba area, NCB officials confiscated at least 55 grams of MD and a small number of marijuana from Nigeria Kingsley Ukwueza drug seller on the intermediary night Thursday and Friday, he said.
During the attack, Hid Nigeria was in the kitchen of the Nigerian community along with around 50 his fellow enthusiasts who accused the NCB team, injuring two officials, he said.
Ukwueza is a big merchant MD and suppliers on Navi Mumbai.
He has an international link, the official said.
In other operations, the NCB Mumbai team confiscated 65 grams of MD (commercial number) on Friday at Mira Road in the Thane District and intercepted a man identified as Riyaz Iqbal Tandel, he added.
