Sameer D Wankhede Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai, who has worked on drug cases that emerged from the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, was awarded ‘medal for excellence in investigations’.
Wankhede and his team had directed investigations into drug racquets in Bollywood since September 2020.
His team arrested several people related to drug trafficking and also submitted a charging sheet against Rhakraborty milk boyfriend and Chakraborty’s brother.
The two currently comes out with a guarantee.
According to reports about PTI, NCB who worked under it also questioned several Bollywood A-Listers including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and several others in connection with this case.
