Noida: Noida Covid Hospital (NCH), Sector 39, has put two oxygen plants which could fill 100 cylinders each day.
A third plant will probably develop in the centre at this month, officials said.The Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen crops are all attached to the wards via pipelines.
Another liquid chemical oxygen (LMO) plant continues to be set in place and also it may be utilized if necessary.
Both new plants would have the ability to fill 100 cylinders, 7,000 litre per day, in one single day.
“Together with four crops, the hospital is going to have a capability to keep 400 levels of oxygen,” said a health official.
At present, NCH contains 357 cylinders.
The hospital has more than 250 beds and is now treating 13 Covid patients.
In the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), a PSA plant (250l) was put up.
Three plants — just two of 500l capacity every single one having a power of 900l — will soon be installed.
GIMS contains an 11l LMO plantlife.
“The 900l plant has been installed by the authorities and others will develop as a part of CSR actions,” said Brigadier (retired) Rakesh Gupta, manager, GIMS.
