Mumbai: Head of the National Party Party (NCP) Sharad Pawar on Tuesday announced that his party would oppose the election of upcoming assembly in Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur.
“We will take part in the election of the upcoming assembly in three states of the total five countries.
The three countries are Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur,” said Pawar at a press conference here.
The Head of NCP said that the party would compete for the election with the Samajwadi Party and other small parties in Uttar Pradesh.
“Uttar Pradesh people look for change.
We will definitely see change in the state,” he said.
Uttar Minister Pradesh Minister of Yogi Aditentalath on comments “80 percent versus 20 percent”, Pawar said the minister of chairman must take all parts of society.
“Yesterday riding cm said that 80 percent people belonged to him while the remaining 20 percent did not.
The minister’s chairman should not make this kind of comment because every citizen of the country belongs to CM,” he said.
“Communal polarization is being carried out in Uttar Pradesh before the assembly election.
The top people will provide answers to this.
CM must take along every part of society,” he added.
Pawar also refers to the Uttar Minister Pradesh Swami Prasad Maurya quit the BJP days before assembling the poll.
“As many as 13 MLA will join the Samajwadi Party (SP),” he said.
Pawar said his party was in talks with the Trinamool Congress and Congress for the Alliance for the election of Goa Assembly.
“Our party leader Pressur Patel is in talks with these parties.
I believe all parties must unite to defeat BJP,” he said.
