NCRB data: crimes carried out by adolescents increased by 30%

Ludhiana: The crimes executed by adolescents increased by 30% in the city in 2020 compared to 2019, according to the report of the Crime National Records Bureau (NCRB).

Under violations that affect the human body, 12 crimes are carried out by adolescents, including three murders, two attempts to kill, four injured cases, two attacks on women and one kidnapping.

There are three cases of criminal violations in other categories.
Thus, a total of 26 recognizable crimes are reported and two under other categories.
In accordance with the data, of the 59 teenagers who conducted 36 crimes in Ludhiana, 42 were those who lived with their parents, 10 lived with Wali and seven homeless people.
