Guinness World Records acknowledged the achievement with tweeting, “Congratulations to @ NCTMTOnTown’s Taeil Moon which set a new record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers in @Instagram only one hour and 45 minutes! #NCT #NCTU.” According to the official website of agency, Taeil has set Guinness World Record for ‘the fastest time to reach 1 million Instagram followers.’ In just one hour and 45 minutes after posting his first tweet, Taeil had a million followers.
The Instagram account now has 1.8 million followers less than a week after being launched.
He only has five posts on a photo-sharing platform so far, and only takes seven individuals, all of which are members of the NCT band.

Aniston was one of the previous record holders after collecting the number of followers in five hours and sixteen minutes by posting his first Instagram post with friends.
