Nda Ally Nitish Kumar opposed the population control law

Patna: Chairman of the Bihar Minister Nith Kumar said on Monday that only framing the law would not serve any purpose as far as the population control problems.
He emphasized the need for education and the right awareness among women to achieve goals.
Speaking with the media on the sidelines of the ‘Janata to Darbar Mein Mukhyamantri’ program, Nitish said he was not worried about what other countries did on the front of this.
“My opinion is very clear at this point and may differ from other countries,” he said, a reference to the draft bill prepared by the Yogi Aditentalath government at Uttar Pradesh.
Nitish, the JD (U) is BJP allies, saying what he said is based on data collected after various studies and surveys in that direction.
He said one survey found that the birth rate of Bihar was lower than the national average.
He said the birth rate of Bihar was 1.6% compared to the national average of 1.7% in cases of women who were educated to the level of intermediaries.
Previously, the birth rate was 2%, both in the country and in Bihar in cases of women who had studied the matriculation level.
CM says there is time when the country’s birth rate is above 4%.
“It has been reduced to 3%.
This is the result of government initiatives in Bihar.
I am from a strong belief that the birth rate will begin to decline in this country in 2040,” he added.
CM, however, adds that he does not mean the legal control population will not help.
“What I mean by saying that education will be proven to be the main tool in birth control.
At the same time, it will have an impact on all communities,” he said.
CM says there is an instance when even educated people have many children.
“This is an exception,” he said.
Referring to China, Nitish said people in the country had adopted a policy of only two children, and it was also being seen as to control birth rates.
The day before, Senior BJP Politicians and Minister of Union Giriraj Singh had emphasized the need for population control.
Giriraj said Bihar too, had to make a law in this direction.
