Hyderabad: With the National Defense Academy (NDA) opened the door for women, many teenagers from the country prepared to appear for the November nda exam.
While 52 girls from Telangana Social Welfare Housing Armed Forces Preparation of competition for women, Bhongir, have registered for exams, many more tend to apply as the last date for the application (October 8) closer.
Following the direction of the Supreme Court, the Union Public Service Commission re-opened the NDA (II) 2021 application for female candidates on September 24.
Physical standards and vacancies for women will be announced later after being notified by the Ministry of Defense (MOD)).
“Students are willing to lose one or two years spent on their degree of course, for the sake of the NDA entry.
This is their priority,” said Major Usha Sharma, Founder and Director of Bhongir College refers to 52 who have registered.
“Even the students at the end of the last year are willing to appear for inspection.
But we have to prevent them because we need to have at least one year at hand to ensure that these candidates reach the finish line,” he added.
