Patna: Seven Members of the Bihar Legislative Council (MLC), including the Party of Vikasheel Insaan (VIP) of the President and Minister of Sahni Mukesh, set to retire from the top home on July 21 this year.
All seven members came from the powerful and elected NDA camp from the constituency of Vidhan Sabha.
Of the seventh, five belongs to JD (U), one from BJP and one (Sahni Mukesh) from VIP.
Other six MLCs arranged for retirement in July are MD Qamar Alam, Wash Rasool, Ranvijay Kumar Singh, CP Sinha, Rozina Nazish (All of JD (BJP).
While Rozina and Mukesh were elected in two elections with separate elections in September and January respectively, five other members – Qamar, Was, Ranvijay, CP Sinha and Arjun were selected in July 2016.
The five members retired after completing them after completing the term six years at home top.
