Mumbai: Special NDPS Court on Monday was discarded by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for permission to record the statement of Witness Panch K P Gosavi, who was accused of conducting a pune prison with another case.
Without the assistance provided by special narcotics drugs and psychotropic courts (NDPS), NCB will now approach the court in Pune.
Gosavi, a witness in the case of breast cruise drugs, has been involved in controversy.
Last month his personal bodyguard, Prabhakar Sail, has submitted an accusation of leveling relating to the October 2 attack, which leads to the arrest of the son of Actor Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan Aryan.
The Narcotics Control Bureau told the Special NDPS Court of a FIR filed by Pune Police against Gosavi.
He was arrested last month with a cheat.
NCB said that he was in Jerwada prison and they wanted to record his statement as a chargesheet must be submitted.
“Since Gosavi, whose punenger statement (NCB) intends to record not in the custody of the judiciary about this court but in Judicial custody of the JMFC court, Pune, it is for agents to approach the court concerned.
Therefore the application was submitted and discarded,” said the judge Special VV Patil.
