The Navy has deployed seven rescue teams equipped with rubber boats, living jackets, and Lifebuoys to affected areas, along with helicopters for airlift marooned residents.
Navy Divers specialists accompany each team.
More than 1,000 people have been saved from the flood area.
IMD problems, the commemoration of the Meteorology department has issued a red warning for several districts in the state, indicating that heavy rains will continue for the next few days.
