Nagpur: Nuisance (NDS) Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) squad (NMC) on Tuesday threatened to withdraw from service after the Vijay Kolhe’s head and financial officer allegedly behaved with the Commander of Virsen Tambe.
The NDS has approached the Ministry of Finance and the NMC account to ask about the status of Honoria Junium 176 civilian police deployed in all 10 zones.
Usually, the Department channeled the monthly honorarium of the NDS team before 10 every month, which was postponed over the past few months.
“NDS personnel got their honorarium for May on June 26,” said the source.
This month too, the honorarium is not disbursed even after July 10.
So, on Monday, Commander NDS Tambe has sent staff from his department to the Department of Account to ask.
Dahibale, an official from the account department, told the staff that cleaning the Honorarium file was waiting with the Rajesh Meshram account officer for his signature and the cafo.
The staff then approached the meshram, who clarified that no files related to the Honorarium NDS were waiting with him.
In fact, Meshram said he did not receive files like that.
Dahibale then claimed to have misunderstood the Honorarium NDS file.
However, the file was then traced with Dahibale himself after Tambe threatened to approach the Commissioner of Radhakrishnan B.
Instead of channeling the delayed honorarium, Kolhe on Tuesday called the NDS commander and allegedly behaved with him.
“Even though I talked to him humbly, Kolhe behaves arrogant,” Tambe’s claims.
Tried above the episode, all Zonal NDS heads and civilian police have strengthened behind their commanders and offered to attract their services with direct effects.
Then, Tambe met with the commissioner of the additional city of Ram Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Nirbhay Jain and gave them this problem.
He also reported the incident to the Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari, who convinced to see this problem.
The mayors say he has directed the cafo to release NDS at the earliest.
“Delay without reason will not be tolerated,” said Tiwari.
The mayor also said the Cafo denied behaving badly with the Commander of the NDS.
NMC has traced the NDS team to curb civil disorders such as throwing garbage in public places, urinating in open construction materials on paths and roads etc.
In addition, the Civic body has also used the NDS to implement the Covid-19 protocol, provides security at the RT-PCR testing and vaccination center.
