Nearly 37 Doses of Crore Vaccines Given in India So far: Ministry of Health

New Delhi: The cumulative dose of covid-19 vaccine given in this country has reached nearly 37 crores, the UNI Health Ministry said on Thursday.
The new phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on vaccination starts from June 21.
More than 36.08 lakh (36,08,940) vaccine doses have been given on Thursday, according to a report while 7 nights.
The ministry said 17.93,389 vaccine doses were given as the first dose and 1,71,647 vaccine doses provided as the second dose in the age group 18-44 on Thursday.
Cumulatively, 10.82.14,937 people in the age group of 18-44 years in all states and UTS had received their first dose and a total of 33,70,920 had received their second dose since the beginning of the phase-3 of the vaccination drive.
Eight countries – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra – have provided more than 50 lakh the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the age group 18-44.
Also, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have vaccinated more than 10 Lakh recipients from the age group 18-44 for the first covid dose.
-19 vaccines, ministries said.
