New Delhi: Nearly 89 Crore Covid-19 Dosage Vaccine has so far been managed in this country, the United Ministry said on Thursday.
More than 58 doses of the lakh vaccine were given on Thursday to 7pm.
Daily vaccination calculations are expected to increase with the compilation of the final report for that day late at night, the ministry said.
According to ministry data, a total of 64.98.28,333 the first dose and 23.97.86,150 the second dose of the vaccine has been given throughout the country.
Vaccination exercises as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from Covid-19 continue to be reviewed regularly and monitored at the highest level, the ministry is underlined.
Drive vaccination in the beginning was launched on January 16, with health workers (HCWS) inoculated in the first phase.
Vaccination for frontline workers (FLW) starts from February 2.
The next phase of Covid-19 vaccination starts from March 1 for people over 60 years and those aged 45 years and over with the condition of the specified co-morbid.
The state launched vaccination for all people over 45 years from April 1.
The government then decided to expand drive vaccination by allowing everyone over 18 years to vaccinate from May 1.
