Hyderabad: Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday arrested everyone off-guard when he announced that the country needed a completely new constitution.
Taking an aggressive attitude towards the Government of Narendra Modi, he said the new constitution was the only way to stop the center of constantly seizing the government’s power of the state on a concurrent list.
“India requires to rewrite the constitution.
Let it be debated and discussed.
Valuable seventy-five years have passed after independence but people’s hopes are not fulfilled,” CM said.
The statement emerged as a reaction to the Union 2022-23 budget which he called a bundle of lies, disappointing and budget of ‘Golmaal’ not used for SCS, STS, BCS, minority, farmers, working classes and poorer parts of society.
“The finance minister reads a sloka from Mahabharata to preach Dharma but truly reaches Adharma and Astaya,” he said.
He asked the country’s young man to revoke BJP from his roots and threw it into Bengal Bay.
The KCR also clarified his aspirations to play a greater role in national politics ahead of the 2024 general election.
He said he would “depart to raise up people in India and I will also meet leaders from various parties to the achievement of Hindustan Jagmagata”.
The chairman of the minister, who has talked about creating non-Congress, non-BJP Federal Front since 2018, said he already had a word with the head of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and will soon meet him in Mumbai.
In the past month he had met the head of RJD Tejashwi Yadav, talking on the phone to the Prasad and interacting with the leader of the senior left party.
KCr also said he did not think of entering the race for the prime minister’s post as “individuals did not matter in such movements”.
