New York: US health officials, after meeting with the Pfizer maker vaccine, reaffirmed on Monday that the Americans who had been fully vaccinated did not need to get booster shots, said spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
Pfizer said last week it planned to ask our regulator to ratify the dose of booster from its covid vaccine, based on the risk of the infection of six months after the infectious inoculation and dissemination of delta variants.
HHS officials have a briefing from Pfizer on Monday about their latest initial data about vaccination and will continue to discuss when and if Booster Shots will be needed in the future, the spokesman said.
Pfizer said it planned to publish “more definite data” in the peer-reviewed journal.
High-level online meetings come on the same day that Israel began to provide the third dose of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine to patients with heart transplants and others with the compromised immune system.
For its part, which said that rich countries should not order booster shots for their vaccinated population while other countries have not received vaccines.
