New Delhi: MP BJP Varun Gandhi on Sunday describes farmers, who have protested three agricultural laws, as “our own meat and blood” and suggested that the government must be back with them in reaching a shared foundation.
A large number of farmers attended Mahapachayat organized by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) in the Inter College government at Muzaffarnagar at Uttar Pradesh.
“Lakh farmers have gathered in today’s protests at Muzaffarnagar.
They are our own flesh and blood.
We must start pulling back with them respectfully: Understanding their pain, their point of view in achieving a shared foundation” Gandhi tweeted, posting short videos from Great crowd.
Mahapachyat comes ahead of the crucial polls of Uttar Pradesh next year.
This center has held talks with farmer unions who protested but in vain because they did not approve their requests to attract three agricultural laws.
The government insists that these actions have given farmers new opportunities to sell their products and reject criticism that they aim to eliminate the minimum support and mandic agricultural price regime.
