The United Nations: India has said that countries need to be careful in giving reasons for terrorist acts because there is no reason for terrorism and should not divide themselves in fighting one of the biggest challenges faced by humanity.
India is currently the Chair of the United Nations Security Council counter-terrorism committee for 2022.
“India will lead this year’s counter-terrorism committee.

India is currently a non-permanent member of the Security Council of 15 countries and a two-year term will expire on December 31, 2022, the month of India will also lead a strong UN body for the second time in his tenure.

Tirumuti is a new chairman of the counter-terrorism committee for this year.
The counter-terrorism committee was founded in 2001 after 9/11 terrorist attacks.
UNSC Resolution 1373 (2001) has established a counter-terrorism committee as a subsidiary of the council.
Tirumu said the Security Council had acknowledged terrorism as one of the biggest challenges faced by humanity.
“We consistently highlight the importance of remaining to unite against terrorism in all forms and manifestations, and has maintained so as not to dilute our commitment with us,” he added that before the attack on 9/11 in the US and before counter-terrorism.

“The government needs to overcome the challenges caused by the abuse of technology that arises for terrorism.
