Chennai: Minister of Finance and Human Resources Tamil Nadu Thiamivel Thiamivel Rajan on Thursday emphasized the need to increase the administrative mechanism of various governments to curb the gap between the intention and implementation of executive decisions.

This is where the cooperative federalism must play a role with the center, all state governments and local bodies are in the same line to apply the decision.

According to him, there is an urgent need to change the way the GST system, which is the backbone of the flow of state income, functioning, with most officials working as a timer.
