PANAJI: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said in the 60th year of Goa’s liberation, he wanted to start the reconstruction of the temples that had been destroyed by the Portuguese.

Sawant said the application for tourists has been developed by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), which uses which tourists can find their own destination.

Sawant said the updated tourism infrastructure was inaugurated at the Shree Mangueshi Temple will increase site tourism capacity.
“In phase one, we have completed basic facilities such as toilet blocks, tourist information centers, parking, illumination and shop.
Soon we will complete the phase two, which will include food plazas, community rooms and cottages to visit tourists,” Sawant said.
The two-phase of the work is being taken at a cost of Rs 28 Crore, he said.
