New Delhi: Tokyo Olympic Gold Medal Neeraj Chopra suffered high fever over the past two days.
He did not attend the Felicitation function organized by the Haryana government on Friday.
Following the doctor’s advice, the Covid-19 test was finished.
The report came negative.
Speaking to IANS, someone close to Chopra said he recovered now.
“The temperature was 103 until yesterday.
But he was getting better now.
The report (Covid) also came negative.
The doctor has advised him.
He has a busy schedule and that’s the reason he fell ill,” said the person.
“Neeraj might attend the function in Rashtrapati Bhawan tonight.
He will come there directly.
Break (all of the others) players are currently at Ashoka Hotel,” he added.
