New Delhi: Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday met all members of the Association of the Indian OBC Student who thanked him to apply a 27 percent reservation for the OBC community in the medical entrance examination.
The Minister assures the students that the Modi Government will do everything possible to expand the canvas opportunity for marginalized parts and vulnerable.

“Students also have valuable suggestions on ways to ensure the empowerment and welfare of OBC.
I assure them that the Government of PM Modi Ji.
Will work and do everything possible to expand the canvas opportunity for a marginalized and vulnerable part,” he added.

The government has announced that a 27 percent quota for other backup (OBC) and a 10 percent quota in the category of weaker parts (EWS) in all-Indian quota schemes for undergraduate and medical and dental programs will be implemented from the current academic year 2021 22.
