NEET 2021 Exam: More than 90% of candidates appear for examinations in the city center in Assam

Guwahati: About 90% of attendance recorded for the national feasibility test (NEET) in the Guwahati zone where nearly 18,000 registered candidates to emerge from 46 inspection centers on Sunday.
Officials of the National Test Agency (NTA) are called this in an extraordinary response from medical candidates during the pandemic.
The response from students was better than last year when Neet recorded a little more than 75% of attendance in Assam in the All-India medical entrance test held in mid-September 2020.
“In some centers in Guwahati, the presence even touched 95% and this sent a strong message that students were ready to move forward in their careers even under the threat of Covid-19,” said an NTA official to Ti.

The exam was held between 2 and 5 in the afternoon but students began to arrive at the exam centers from 11am themselves.
There is a big enthusiasm among students, but some skip tests mainly due to lack of preparation.
“It is very unlikely that some students decided not to appear in a fearful virus infection test.
By the way, five to 10% of students remained absent in many entrance tests,” officially added.
Areef Ahmed, biology teacher at Miles Bronson housing school, here, said most of their students feel comfortable with biology part of the paper.
He, however, argues that the moderate and physics chemical section is ‘very tough’ for students.
Arnab Mondal, which appears for the exam from a center here, said, “Except for physics, the remaining paper is easy.
I did a lot of effort to prepare for the test and now I feel happy to be able to answer most of the questions.”
In the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) joined the Competitive Examination (CCE), only about 49% of the registered candidates emerged in the precursor held on Sunday.
A total of 75,806 registered candidates to appear in the exam from 392 centers.
“Considering the Covid situation, we believe that the presence is not too low,” said an APSC official.
The commission made Covid test settings in inspection centers.
For candidates, who have not been vaccinated, furnishing a valid negative certificate is mandatory.
However, Apsc officials said that there were no positive Covid students who appeared for the exam.
In neet there are also no reports from positive Covid students even though settings are specifically made for such cases.
