New Delhi: The Ministry of Education has decided to add a center in Dubai for the NEET medical entrance exam this year, officials said Thursday.
Earlier this month, the ministry has announced that for the first time the exam will be carried out in Kuwait to facilitate the Indian student community in the Middle East.
“The National Test Agency (NTA) has decided to make one more downtown in Dubai besides those that have been created in Kuwait City during 2021,” said Secretary HRD Amit Khare in a letter to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Indian community in the Gulf countries can be informed about this.
I will also be grateful if the Indian Embassy in Kuwait and Dubai is advised to expand their full cooperation with NTA in conducting an examination in a fair and safe way,” he added ,

13 languages where the test will be made this year is Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and England.
Among languages, Punjabi and Malyalam are new additions.
Near scheduled earlier on August 1 was postponed until September 12.
The number of cities where the examination is carried out will increase from 155 to 198.
The number of inspection centers will also increase from 3,862 used by 2020.
Last year, it was conducted on September 13 amid strict precautions considering the Covid-19 pandemic.
A total of 13.66 Lakh candidates have emerged in the test that qualifies 7,71,500.
