Chennai: DMK MP Kanimozhi summoned the head of Odisha Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday to seek support to the Tamil Nadu law to get rid of the national feasibility test (NEET) for medical acceptance.
Kanimozhi called Naveen Patnaik in the last office and submit a letter from the Chief Minister Tamil Nadu M K Stalin sought support to submit “a united effort to place the virtues of the state government in managing the education sector.” He also handed over a copy of the Justice Report a K Rajan Committee about the impact of the NEET in rural students.
The Chief of the Whip Party at Rajya Sabha T K B elangovan led the delegation to the Telangana Minister for City Administration and Urban Development, Rama Rao and submitted the letter from Need Nadu.
Rama Rao is the son of Telangana Cm K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The DMK delegation had previously met with the Head of Pinarayan Vijayan (Kerala) and Y s Jagan Mohan Reddy (Andhra Pradesh) and submitted letters from Stalin.
The DMK delegation has fulfilled the CMS from countries presented by non-BJP as part of their outreach campaign to collect support to TN’s efforts to eliminate with Neet and restore education on the country list.
They will meet with Punjab CMS, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Delhi and Goa in the coming days.
