New Delhi: The test in the national feasibility (NEET-UG) to enter medical courses is likely to be postponed until September, according to the source.
The new schedule along with the guidelines for the online registration process will be announced next week, said a senior official, adding that the Minister of Education will soon hold a meeting, after the date will be announced by NTA.
Exams tend to be scheduled in mid-September, the official said.
The entrance test for the MBBS / BDS course has been scheduled for August 1, but the registration process is delayed due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in April-May, and subsequent locking.
Meanwhile, calls at the launch of the general university entry test will be taken soon.
