New Delhi: NEET The medical entrance exam, which was scheduled earlier for August 1, will now be held on September 12, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced Monday.
“NEET-UG 2021, will be held on September 12 throughout the country after the Covid-19 protocol.
The application process will start at 5pm tomorrow through the NTA website,” Pradhan said in a series of tweets.
“To ensure compliance with the Covid-19 protocol, the face mask will be given to all candidates in the middle.
The slot time staggered during entering and out, registration without contact, proper sanitization, seating with social distance etc.

The Minister of Education further said that to ensure social dynastic norms, the number of cities in which the examination would be increased from 155 to 198.
The number of inspection centers would also increase from 3.862 used in the previous exam.
