When it comes to our mental health and spiritual beings, meditation is one of the most recommended practices in and around the world.
Many believe that it raises our mood, heals emotional wounds and also helps us find our mental peace.
The researchers have supported this claim with various studies and has found that meditation can help reduce stress, improve our health and memories.

However, what we do not know is a dangerous effect of meditation can have to us in the long run.
In the past, research has registered several deficiencies and meditation negative impacts can have our physical and mental well-being.
A 2017 study conducted by researchers from Brown University and the University of California found some meditation side effects that could be owned by people.
Although it is also important to note that more research is needed to prove the same thing, we cannot really ignore these findings.
That said, here are some of the weaknesses of meditation that you might experience.
You might be more susceptible to anxiety attacks
Experts claim that meditation can cause an anxiety attack on humans.
Because meditation tends to restore all types of emotions and memories, including traumatic, believed that many negative feelings can erupt during meditation exercises.
In the 2017 study, those who participated also showed signs of anxiety, fear and paranoia.
Increased dissociation with the world
While meditation has many positive impacts on the mind, it can also cause negative feelings, according to health experts.
This in turn can sometimes cause feelings of dissociation and reluctance to connect with others.
In addition, while meditation helps you develop understanding with yourself, it can change the way you see other people and make it difficult for you to bind someone else.
You may lack motivation
Reportedly, lack of motivation could be a result of meditation.
Because of meditation and attention encourage someone to live the life of the detachment, it can also cause an insignificant in every work, personal life and more.
You might experience sleep problems
In a study published by the American Psychosomatic Society, it was found that people who meditate many more susceptible to damaged sleep cycles and difficulty sleeping enough.
As per experts, meditation can increase the sense of alertness and focus, extremities that can cause insomnia and other sleep problems.
Physical symptoms to be considered
The 2017 study also found that meditation tends to cause certain physical illnesses in the community too.
Symptoms such as pain, pressure, voluntary movements, headaches, fatigue, weakness, gastrointestinal problems, and dizziness are all reported in people who have enthusiastic meditators.
However, more research needs to be done to prove the same thing.
While too much of anything might have its own side effects, there is no doubt that meditation has helped and heals many people in the past.
