Negative perception about the police ‘challenge’: PM to conduct experiments

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the negative perception of the police among the people was “big challenges” and urged young police officers to reflect on this and work hard to change this image.
Overcoming IPS experiments at the National Police Academy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel through video-conferencing, PM Modi quoted a good credibility and image of the National Disaster Response Force and said the NDRF had won the trust and trust of people with their extraordinary work.
“Every time there is a natural disaster, the name NDRF inspires trust in affected people.
There is an element of belief that NDRF personnel will save their lives at any cost,” said PM.
“However, it is not a feeling among people when it comes to the police.
This is despite the fact that the police sacrificed their lives for the security of the country, they could not go home for days, even during the festival,” said PM Modi.
, “There was a slight change in this perception at the beginning of the Covid outbreak when the police were seen helping people in trouble.
But now returning to the old situation,” he added.
“It is the responsibility of the new generation of officers to ensure that these changes and negative perceptions end.
Does the system change you or whether you change the system will depend on your training, your strength,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi urged experiments to ensure that every action in the field was always guided by the interest and national perspective.
“You are the bearer of the ‘Ek Bharat -Shreshth Bharat’ flag and therefore you must always maintain the mantra ‘Nation first, always first’ especially in your mind and it must reflect in all your activities,” said PM Modi.
By declaring that people expect certain levels of behavior from them, PM Modi requested a trial period to always pay attention to their service dignity not only in the office or headquarters too.
“You must be aware of all the roles in the community, your needs are to remain friendly and maintain the highest uniform honor” said Prime Minister.
PM Modi said that India was ready to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence and highlight the importance of time when they joined the police.
“You started your career when India will go through a transformation phase in each field, every level.
25 years old you will also be the 25th year of Indian development.
That’s why your preparation, your mood, must be in line with this big goal,” PM said.
He urged experiments to work for good governance.
PM Modi also interacts with trial periods during the event and offered them some suggestions.
He advised a female officer, Ranjeta Sharma from Haryana who had given Rajasthan Cadre, to give an hour every week to students at the girl’s school at the place of the post, because it would motivate them to reach full potential.
